Believing that light can transform the ordinary, Caroline Jasper searches it out and strives to capture its properties. Its ability to beautify the commonplace is the inspiration behind all of her work. Jasper begins each landscape by laying down a ground of bright red. She then applies bright white highlights, slowly adding the greens and blues of land and sky.
