Landscape is at the heart of Eleri Mills' work. It evokes the hills, forests and farmlands of her Welsh home but is, at the same time, a landscape of memory and imagination. Mills recognizes no distinction between fine art and fiber art, and uses drawing as the starting point for all of her work. Her highly personal vocabulary fuses fine drawing skills with the confident use of handstitching. |
