Ron Scolastico

Paintings by Ron Scolastico

"In France, my eyes were opened to the world of modern art. I met serious artists whose work triggered in me a latent passion for painting."

In his painting Ron Scolastico combines his love of artistic expression with his interest in human consciousness. His ongoing series of works, "Inner Planes," embodies the process of using abstract painting as a medium to translate non-physical inner states into tangible physical forms. The paintings reveal unique abstract structures that stimulate new ways of seeing.

Capturing what he intuitively feels as the movement, rhythm, pattern, and ever-changing energies and forms of the inner life, Scolastico's work explores the complexity of levels within human consciousness, from ordinary awareness to profound spiritual experiences.

Scolastico has recently been selected for exhibition at the prestigious Salon d'Automne in Paris. Since its founding in 1903, the Salon has exhibited the paintings of such artists as Picasso, Gauguin, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, and Chagall.
